How we measure your success

News Canada uses the Canadian standard of PR measurement — Media Relations Rating Points (MRP). MRP uses audited audience data supplied by the leading independent research firms in each of the mediums.

NEW REPORTING ANNOUCEMENT

We are pleased to announce the transition to improved media measurement of your campaign results is now complete.

Your results online in real time.

The June 2010 clipping reports were the last hard copy reports News Canada sent out. As of July 2010, News Canada is proud to be providing your print and web article results online using the industry standard for media relations evaluation and measurement – Media Relations Rating Points (MRP). You will be able to access your mat story campaign reports online and download your MRP report in PDF form — including all captured clips.

• Results—access and review the results of your campaign (including clips) online any time, anywhere in an MRP PDF report.
• Notifications—you will shortly begin to receive weekly emails notifying you of your password and new clips for as long as we capture pick-up for your campaign. As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability your reports will no longer be delivered in hard copy format once we switch over.
